Why Copper?

Copper is known for its antibacterial, antiviral and anti-fungal properties.

Copper is also a highly conductive metal, making it an excellent medium by which to store positive energy!

Finally, since ancient Egyptian times, copper has been worn to treat arthritis, and as a mineral supplement.

Why Shaligram?

Shaligram is a fossilized shell that is used as an iconic symbol & reminder of the Hindu god Vishnu, the preserver. This Shaligram comes from the Nepal's ancient & sacred Gandaki river.

His Eminence Ven. Drubthob Rinpoche, this temple is dedicated to the “restoration of a harmonious human society, and for the well being of every sentient being in this world.”

Your Donation: We have made a significant donation on your behalf to both restore this monastery following the devastating earthquake in 2015, and to help ensure its continuation for years to come.
